The Power of the Possible - named Award-Winning Finalist in the USA Best Books Awards 2008.Conversation with Holly Higgins, a self-growth teacher from Oregon about some concepts in the book.
THE POWER OF THE POSSIBLE is hosted weekly by noted author and relationship expert AURIELA MCCARTHY. Cutting to the core of every issue and breaking apart many long held beliefs that keep us from creating the life we claim we want but have been unable to create, this show will challenge your thinking and empower you to take a fresh look at the way you live your life.
“You must lose the battle of being right, to win the war of being happy” says Auriela. Meet real people and hear their extraordinary stories of healing and change. Be touched, be inspired, be amazed. Learn why “NOTHING CHANGES UNTIL WE CHANGE.”
Auriela came to this country from the former Soviet Union in 1980 as a political refugee and quickly became and American “success story” with her own art gallery, a home with a view and a “picture perfect” marriage. But behind the bright façade lay conflict at home and memories of heart break and loss that had marked her early years. A spiritual awakening in 1987 brought a profound shift. Auriela ended her marriage, closed the art gallery and completely changed her life. Working as a private art dealer, she dedicated her life to internal reflection and deep immersion in metaphysics. After 20 years, she emerged– a spiritual teacher with a clear message of hope, compassion and understanding. Auriela’s book THE POWER OF THE POSSIBLE has been released by Beaufort Books, NY in January, 2008. Endorsed by John Gray, Roger Housden and so many others it is the culmination of her teachings. “ I learned more about love from reading and reflecting on one chapter of THE POWER OF THE POSSIBLE than I learned my entire life,” writes Leslie Kirk Campbell, author of Journey into Motherhood. Auriela is a frequent guest on radio shows across the country, is published in a number of magazines, and is a consistent blogger. For the last 15 years she has been helping people from all walks of life with their life an relationships issues. Auriela holds an M.A. in English and English Literature. She lives in Northern California with her husband Mykaell. Find out more at www.AurielaMcCarthy.com and in her blog www.ThePowerofthePossible.blogspot.com
